Tuff

Tuff is an incredibly special boy and means the world to us. He is out of our girl, Wishes, and by a stud who remains one of our all-time favorites. As one of the last litters sired before his father passed away, Tuff carries a pedigree that was thoughtfully and intentionally planned. The lines behind him are older, well-established bloodlines that we spent years researching and preserving.

Ironically, Tuff came from a litter of four black males, and at the time, I had no intention of keeping another black male for my breeding program. However, as the puppies matured, Tuff made that decision impossible. He didn't just catch my eye...he demanded my attention! Every step he takes is purposeful and correct, with effortless movement that has been flawless from the very beginning. He has always free-stacked naturally, carrying himself with confidence and style well beyond his age.

In every way, Tuff has exceeded our expectations. He possesses a wonderful temperament. He is gentle, calm, and easygoing, yet full of personality, goofiness, and charm. He has never met a stranger and seems to approach every day with enthusiasm and joy. Tuff has exceptional retrieving drive and loves both birds and the water, but he also has an excellent off switch and is perfectly content relaxing around the house.

He is a pleasure to train, gets along beautifully with everyone he meets, and brings a sense of fun to everything he does. Tuff is truly a once-in-a-lifetime dog, and he will always be one of the most memorable dogs we have ever had the privilege to own.
